Twenty-eight names. Zero kickbacks.
We don't take commission. Every name on this list has worked at least three events at The Foundry. Most have worked twelve. We have watched them set up at 11 AM and load out at 4 AM. They are the names we would give a friend.
You are free to bring any vendor you choose — these are recommendations, not requirements. The single exception is the day-of coordinator: every wedding here is required to have a day-of coordinator, either from our planner list or one you've already engaged. The reason is operational, not financial.
Photographers.
Photography is the line we agonize over most. The Foundry photographs well in cool diffuse light and badly in warm tungsten — these six know how to work the building's signature light.
Roost Studio
DOCUMENTARYBrooklyn-based, three principals. They've shot eighteen weddings here. They know where the cast-iron columns frame the recessional best. The aesthetic is restrained, dark in the highlights, and slow to crop.
Heart and Soul Wedding Co.
EDITORIALTwo-person practice based in Williamsburg. They lean editorial — high-contrast, magazine-tier composition. They've shot eleven weddings here. They're particular about light, which is why we particularly like them.
Field & Form
FILMThree principals, mostly medium-format film. The grain is real grain. The lab work is theirs. They've shot eight weddings here. Their work is what gets published in Junebug.
Ashford Photography
DOCUMENTARYSolo practitioner. Six weddings at the Foundry. The work is quiet, observational, and easy to live with.
The North Window
EDITORIAL / FILMTwo-person team. They split shoots — one principal at the ceremony, one at the cocktail hour. Five weddings at the Foundry.
Marcellus & Wren
DOCUMENTARYMarried couple, both photographers. Four weddings at the Foundry. They've covered three Indian weddings here and know the rituals.
Florists.
Vermilion is our house color. Florists who understand that we want bold restraint over abundance are the ones we recommend.
Stems & Sundries

Caterers.
All five are licensed in New York State, all five have worked the freight-bay staging spine three or more times, and all five publish their per-person rates without a quote form (which is the kind of thing we notice).
